LIFT OFF FOAMING GERMICIDAL CLEANER is designed for general household cleaning and disinfecting in Homes, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Institutions, Offices, Schools, Motels and Hotels. In addition, LIFT OFF FOAMING GERMICIDAL CLEANERdeodorizes those areas which generally are hard to keep fresh smelling, such as garbage storage areas, empty garbage bins and cans, basements, restrooms and other areas which are prone to odors caused by micro-organisms. When used as directed, LIFT OFF FOAMING GERMICIDAL CLEANER demonstrates effective disinfection against Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella choleraesuis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, thus meeting AOAC Use Dilution Test requirements for hospital disinfectant. Efficacy tests have demonstrated that LIFT OFF FOAMING GERMICIDAL CLEANER is an effective one-step cleaner disinfectant in the presence of organic soil (5% blood serum). Meets AOAC Use Dilution Test Requirement for hospital disinfectant. Kills Trichopyhton mentagrophytes, the cause of Athlete’s foot fungus, on hard, non-porous surfaces found in bathrooms. No scrubbing, No rinsing, Non-abrasive. Great on fiberglass and leaves a fresh clean scent. This product is fungicidal against Pathogenic fungi (T. mentagrophytes) when used as directed on hard surfaces found in the bathroom, shower stall and locker room, or other clean, hard, non-porous surfaces commonly contacted by bare feet. MOLD AND MILDEWSTAT - LIFT OFF FOAMING GERMICIDAL CLEANER prevents and controls mold and mildew and the odors they cause on hard, non-porous surfaces.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. DISINFECTION, DEODORIZATION, AND CLEANING:
  • 1. Shake Can Well Before and During Use.
  • 2. Holding can 6 to 8 inches from surface, spray area until it is covered with a white foam. To disinfect, allow foam to penetrate and remain wet for 10 minutes. To only clean surface wipe foam away after 1 to 2 minutes.
  • 3. Wipe with wet cloth or sponge.
  • 4. For heavily soiled areas, remove heavy soil or gross filth before treatment.
To Sanitize: Spray hard non-porous surfaces until entire area is thoroughly covered with a white foam. Allow foam to remain wet or 5 minutes before wiping. Remove heavy soil or gross filth prior to sanitization. To Kill Bacteria on hard, non-porous surfaces, spray surface until covered with a white foam and allow foam to penetrate. Let stand for 5 minutes, then wipe clean. Mold and Mildewstat - To control mold and mildew on pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous surfaces, spray surface until it is completely covered in foam. Let air dry. Repeat application at weekly intervals or when mildew growth reappears.
  • KILLS HIV ON PRE-CLEANED ENVIRONMENTAL SURFACES AND OBJECTS PREVIOUSLY SOILED WITH BLOOD OR BODY FLUIDS in health care settings or other settings in which there is an expected likelihood of soiling of inanimate surface or object with blood or body fluids, and in which the surfaces and objects likely to be soiled with blood or body fluids can be associated with the potential for transmission of human immunodeficiency virus Type 1 (HIV-1) (associated with AIDS).
  • SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING AND DECONTAMINATION AGAINST HIV ON SURFACES AND OBJECTS SOILED WITH BLOOD OR BODY FLUIDS:
  • PERSONAL PROTECTION: Specific barrier protection items to be used when handling items soiled with blood or body fluids are disposable latex gloves, gowns, masks and eye coverings.
  • CLEANING PROCEDURE: Blood and other body fluids must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces and objects before application of the disinfectant.
  • DISPOSAL OF INFECTIOUS MATERIALS: Autoclave blood and other body fluids and dispose of according to federal, state and local regulations for infectious waste disposal.
  • CONTACT TIME: Leave surface wet for 10 minutes.
This product is not to be used as a terminal sterilant/high level disinfectant on any surface or instrument that (1) is introduced directly into the human body, either into or in contact with the blood stream or normally sterile areas of the body, or (2) contacts intact mucous membranes but which does not ordinarily penetrate the blood barrier or otherwise enter normally sterile areas of the body. This product may be used to pre-clean or decontaminate critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization or high level disinfection.
